Nile Union Academy recently hosted a leadership training program for church elders as part of the Adventist Church’s Leadership Program, organized by the church’s field in Egypt. The event gathered more than 20 elders from across the country for three days of intensive learning and spiritual strengthening.
Across the program, participants engaged in more than 12 hours of structured sessions, including lectures, Bible study, worship services, and prayer moments. The training created a balanced environment that combined theological reflection with spiritual renewal.
Plenary sessions were led by pastors and invited guests, covering themes such as biblical leadership, pastoral care, church administration, and the role of elders in strengthening local congregations. Discussions also addressed practical challenges in ministry and the importance of unity and mission in church life.
The main objective of the initiative was to strengthen both the faith and knowledge of church elders, equipping them to serve more effectively in their local churches. Organizers emphasized the importance of continuous leadership development as part of the church’s broader mission strategy in Egypt.
The program concluded with participants expressing renewed commitment to their calling and a deeper sense of responsibility toward their congregations.
