Sabbath Schools
Sabbath School is a weekly Bible study and fellowship time that happens before the main worship service on Saturday mornings. It’s designed for all ages — from babies to adults — and includes both Bible study and discussion, often in small groups or classes.
The main goals are to:
Study the Bible deeply and practically.
Grow spiritually as individuals and as a community.
Support mission work around the world (each quarter highlights a global mission project).
Build friendships and strengthen the church community.
Each week, members study a specific Bible topic using a quarterly guide called the Sabbath School Study Guide, which is published every 3 months (a “quarter”). There’s usually:
• An opening program with music, prayer, and mission stories.
• Group study/discussion of the lesson topic.
• For kids and youth: age-appropriate classes with Bible stories, songs, and activities.
The lesson usually focuses on a particular theme or book of the Bible. For example, one quarter might study the book of Revelation, while another might explore Christian living or Old Testament stories.
People read the daily lessons throughout the week and then come together on Sabbath to discuss what they’ve learned.
