The Creator Summit brought together approximately 150 Seventh-day Adventist content creators from around the world to strengthen the Church's digital mission and expand the reach of the gospel through online platforms.
From July 20 to 23, Egypt was among the countries represented at the Creator Summit, held at the General Conference headquarters in Silver Spring, Maryland. The event brought together approximately 150 Seventh-day Adventist content creators from around the world to strengthen the Church's digital mission and expand the reach of the gospel through online platforms.
Throughout the four-day program, attendees participated in keynote presentations, workshops, panel discussions, and networking sessions with Church leaders and communication professionals. Topics included storytelling, video production, different cultures, social media strategy, and the opportunities and challenges of digital evangelism. The summit also encouraged collaboration among creators from different cultures and languages, building a stronger global network for mission.
Egypt was honored to be represented at the Creator Summit and joins the global commitment of the OneVoice27 movement. Building on the ideas, training, and vision shared during the event, the Egypt Field will continue developing initiatives that use digital media to share the hope of the gospel and support the worldwide mission of proclaiming the message of All Things New.
OneVoice27: A Mission for Every Member
The Creator Summit is one of the initiatives of OneVoice27, a global movement of the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church that invites every church member to participate in sharing the gospel. Pastor Erton Köhler, president of the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, explained that OneVoice27 invites every church member to use the gifts, talents, and platforms available to them to share the message of Jesus. The initiative looks ahead to 2027, marking two thousand years since Christ's baptism, as an opportunity to proclaim not only His first coming but also the hope of His soon return.
"The invitation is not only for communicators or for churches. It is for every member. If you have Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or YouTube, use what you have to share, in your own way, that you love Jesus, that He has transformed your life, and that He is coming again. This is an opportunity to bring hope and help others prepare for His return," Köhler said.
Centered on the theme "All Things New," inspired by Revelation 21, the movement points people to God's promise: "Behold, I am making all things new." Through personal testimony, acts of service, conversations, creative projects, and digital media, OneVoice27 encourages members around the world to unite in proclaiming the hope of Christ's soon return as the Church looks toward 2027.
Within this broader mission, the Creator Summit equips digital communicators with practical skills and fresh ideas, enabling them to create content that inspires others and helps carry the message of hope to people across the globe.
