About 50 children from across Egypt took part in a two-day Adventuree at Nile Union Academy on October 16–17, exploring animal-themed activities and learning about Noah’s faith in God.
Adventurer children from around Egypt gathered at Nile Union Academy, a boarding school, for an Adventuree under the theme “Colors of Faith.” The event, held Friday and Saturday, October 16–17, 2026, brought together about 50 children for a program organized by the leadership of Nile Adventurers Club in partnership with the Pathfinder and Adventurer Ministry of Egypt Field. During the event, the children stayed in tents on the school grounds, adding a camping experience to the weekend.
The Adventuree was designed to help children learn more about Jesus and consider how they can follow Him by faith, following Noah’s example. The story of Noah provided the focus for the sermons by Pastor Marcos Lima, who spoke about Noah and his faith in God.
Activities during the Adventuree
Animal-related activities formed a major part of the children’s experience. The program gave participants opportunities to take part in activities connected with animals while spending time with other Adventurers. On one of the days, the children also took part in a mud game. They enjoyed the activities and took part in the Adventuree’s program at the Nile Union Academy campus.
For Adventurers, an Adventuree offers a chance to gather with peers from beyond their local groups. At this event, children came from around Egypt to share a weekend centered on faith, learning and activities. Staying in tents, joining the animal-related activities and playing in the mud gave participants different ways to share the experience together.
Pastor Marcos’s messages connected the story of Noah with the Adventuree’s aim: encouraging children to trust God and follow Jesus by faith. Noah’s faith served as the example presented to participants through the sermons. The organizers hoped children would leave with a clearer understanding of Jesus and encouragement to follow Him in their own lives.
The leaders organized the event, bringing the children together at Nile Union Academy for the two-day program. About 50 participants attended, making the Adventuree an opportunity for Adventurers from around the country to meet, learn and enjoy activities together.
The theme “Colors of Faith” gave the weekend its identity, while the sermons and activities offered different ways for children to engage with the program. Through Pastor Marcos’s presentations about Noah and the animal-related activities, the Adventuree combined a Bible story with opportunities for participation and fellowship.
The organizers’ goal was to help children know more about Jesus and understand how they can follow Him by faith, as Noah did. The children’s enjoyment of the activities added to the weekend’s positive atmosphere. The hope was that the lessons from the Adventuree would stay with them and encourage them to keep trusting Jesus in their daily lives.
